Nestled in Tucson's vibrant 4th Ave, "Coop by Cowpig" emerges as a must-visit destination for chicken lovers. This lively chicken restaurant captures the essence of comfort food with their expertly crafted offerings, including tantalizing chicken tenders, sandwiches, and creative sides. The standout, the "Cluck Box," allows diners to sample a little bit of everything, making it a favorite among patrons. Customer reviews echo a common sentiment: the food is not only delicious but also well-prepared. Aide Osuna highlights the addictive Jeeter fries and the sampling experience, while Lindy Smith champions the tenders for their perfect crunch and tenderness. Yet, some patrons, like U Hankins, noted that the fries could benefit from a bit more seasoning, showing there’s room for refinement. Atmosphere plays a critical role at Coop by Cowpig. Supportive staff enhance the dining experience, and the vibrant, fun interior filled with local brews adds to the appeal. Adrienne Mora's experience underscores the restaurant's potential to draw visitors from afar, with spicy and lemon pepper tenders touted as must-tries. In essence, "Coop by Cowpig" offers not just meals but shared experiences that invite you to return, making it a delightful culinary gem in Tucson.

The food was so good we ate before the camera. The Jeeter fries are absolutely delicious! They have an awesome sampler plate where you can get a little bit of everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful and in a fantastic mood.

Tried Coop by Cowpig today with my wife and it was delicious, definitely recommend! We ordered the cluck box and bacon ranch fries on the side and it was perfect. The food was seasoned just right and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Great overall value for the price.

Best chicken tenders in town! They were tender and the breading was crunchy and stayed on! We also had the chicken sandwich which, when I looked around, a lot of people were eating them. Portions are huge on the combo. My only complaint was the fries were boring. They had no flavor and needed more cooking time. They offer cocktails , beer and white claws, etc. Place has minimal seating inside, but there are some outside as well. Employees are fun and patient considering I am 1/2 deaf and it was loud inside.

The food was delicious. Chicken was really well seasoned, and it came out really hot and fresh, nice crunch. Garlic toast and sauces were good. The fries were a little underseasoned. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

We saw this place from a TikTok video and it did not disappoint. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. We don’t live close by and would easily drive from Phoenix to Tucson again to eat here. We recommend the spicy tenders or the lemon pepper tenders. Also the pickles are absolutely amazing. The pickles are set up like a flower in a cup on the side. Looks like it’s a hole in the way but truly an amazing spot. Atmosphere on the inside is fun and bright with full bar serving local taps and old fashioned root beer. There’s also a in ball machine inside. Great place for lunch and I imagine a great place for dinner and drinks. They also have a tablet to order yourself or can order with a cashier.

One of the best spots downtown. I recommend their cluck box because you get a little bit of everything! Well seasoned, juicy burger, and waffles that were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

I love their buffalo ranch fries! My sister's and I pretty much only order this! I added a photo of the size comparison between the regular and large. Every time we come, it tastes the same and is always so delicious with a ton of sauce and a good amount of chicken! Our most recent visit was during the 4th Ave Street fair, so the music was a bit louder than normal, and with the noisy street, it hurt my ears and made talking a bit rough. I always bring earplugs so it wasn't too bad, but it is important to know if you have sensitive ears. The price is a little expensive but I think it is so yummy that it's worth the splurge when I need some comfort food.

Went today for lunch with my husband and was very satisfied with how good the food was! We ordered the ranch fries and the portion was huge and we were able to share the plate and leave full. Great flavor, and the chicken in the fries was amazing! I liked that they had a small bar area. It's a great place to have a drink and share a plate with someone. Cool atmosphere, but seating is limited, and it is a tight squeeze if you use a wheelchair. Good music was playing. Will be back for the voodoo ranger they advertised on draft, this place is a hidden gem here in Tucson!
